An alien invasion that only the U.S. Navy can stop may sound exciting, but it’s not. Especially when it’s a $200-million-plus film version of the popular board game.
“Battleship”is not the first major motion picture to be based on a board game — who could forget 1985′s benighted “Clue”? — but it is surely the most expensive.

The new E! reality show ‘Mrs. Eastwood & Company’ focuses on the lives of Clint’s wife, Dina, and daughters Francesca and Morgan with very little footage of the man of the house. Without much drama in the initial story lines and little insight into Clint, this series is a snoozer.
In an odd yet understandable marketing strategy, the folks behind E!’s new reality show “Mrs. Eastwood & Company” have spent a lot of pre-premiere publicity time explaining what the show isn’t . Which is to say, Clint Eastwood. The legendary actor and director will appear in but a few episodes and then only briefly. He will not, for instance, be slamming any doors or engaging in filmed therapy sessions with his wife, Dina, around whom the show revolves (see title.)
