The Pitch Looks For a Woman’s Touch
The documentary-like story of a yellow Labrador Retriever guide dog for the blind named Quill. We follow Quill from the litter, his selection to become a guide, his life with a foster family until his first birthday, followed by highly specialized schooling in guiding the sightless. He is then paired with a blind man named Watanabe Mitsuru who is at first reluctant to rely on Quill. But Quills great patience, gentleness and skill eventually wins him over and they become inseparable friends.

The new E! reality show ‘Mrs. Eastwood & Company’ focuses on the lives of Clint’s wife, Dina, and daughters Francesca and Morgan with very little footage of the man of the house. Without much drama in the initial story lines and little insight into Clint, this series is a snoozer.
In an odd yet understandable marketing strategy, the folks behind E!’s new reality show “Mrs. Eastwood & Company” have spent a lot of pre-premiere publicity time explaining what the show isn’t . Which is to say, Clint Eastwood. The legendary actor and director will appear in but a few episodes and then only briefly. He will not, for instance, be slamming any doors or engaging in filmed therapy sessions with his wife, Dina, around whom the show revolves (see title.)
