Reader’s Digest ranks composer A.R. Rahman as “most trusted” Bollywood figure
Oscar winner composer A.R. Rahman (Slumdog Millionaire) is the “most trusted” Bollywood personality, according to a survey published in March edition of Reader’s Digest (India).
He ranks number five on a list of 100 “most trusted” Indians of all categories. He is followed by National Award (NA) winner megastar Amitabh Bachchan (Black), who ranked at 14.
Ranks of other Bollywood celebrities were: Cannes nominated musician Zakir Hussain (Apocalypse Now) 16, NA winner actor-director-producer Aamir Khan (Lagaan) 18, Cannes nominated director-screenwriter Shyam Benegal (Zubeidaa) 32, actor-director-producer Jaspal Bhatti (Fanaa) 43, NA winner lyricist-screenwriter Javed Akhtar (Veer- Zaara) 46, Fimfare Award (FA) winner actor-producer Shah Rukh Khan (My Name is Khan) 53, FA winner actress Sushmita Sen (Biwi No. 1) 64, FA winner actor Rajnikanth (Nallavanuku Nallavan) 67, NA winner actor-scriptwriter-director Kamal Haasan (Indian) 71, FA winner actress Aishwarya Rai (Devdas) 82, and producer Ekta Kapoor (Kyaa Kool Hai Hum) 95.
Congratulating Rahman on topping the list in Bollywood category, Indo-American statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada (USA) today, said that although Bollywood was gaining popularity worldwide but it appeared from this ranking that it needed to gain more trust of Indians. Though Bollywood’s reach was quite higher than other categories, only 13 Bollywood celebrities appeared on this list of 100, Zed, who is chairperson of Indo-American Leadership Confederation, added.

Sony’s Jeet Jayenge Hum will now have a suspense track coming up. Suman who has shifted to her aunt’s 
house with her siblings will face very rough times as someone will try to kill her. Viewers will get to see a stronger side to Suman who will fight for her life and find out the person behind this.
Suman’s (Sana Sheikh) aunt Devyani (Kamya Punjabi) believes that money is everything in life while Suman and the rest feel it is love that’s important. Someone is repeatedly trying to bump off Suman and is even warning her through letters that she should leave the house with her siblings if she wants to save her life. But it isn’t Devyani who wants them out because she does care for them.
It’s mostly Devyani’s younger sister and her husband who are probably doing this. Someone tries to suffocate Suman with a pillow when she is sleeping and she will encounter a lot of such incidents in the coming episodes. But eventually she will nab the culprits and a very interesting turn will change Suman’s life.
Sana says, “Yes, someone will try hard to kill me, but all attempts will be unsuccessful. A special episode on March 24 will reveal the culprit and the motives behind his/her deeds.”

Suman faces threats to life, will emerge winner
Season 3 of Khatron Ke Khiladi will be a testosterone-heavy series what with cricketers both Indian and 
international will put their fears to test, with of course host Akshay Kumar.
The show will start post IPL and is in keeping with the hype surrounding the 20-20 matches. It’s basically to keep the IPL fever going. Colors’s IPL Rockstars and Khatron Ke Khiladi will be keeping in with the exciting matches. A source from the channel said that this time too, the contestants will be paired with common people. “The 13 contestants will be picked up from various international cricket teams. Players will be selected according to their availability. They will be paired with common people selected via auditions.”
The other modalities are still being worked upon.
Deepak Dhar, country head, Endemol India says, “I cannot confirm anything at this moment. Things are still under discussion.”
The earlier two seasons had women from the glamour and entertainment industry paired with common people.

Himesh Reshammiya’s team was fully geared for this match considering it was the decider of his fate in Music 
Ka Maha Muqquabla but once again destiny favoured him as he beat his tough competitor Shankar Mahadevan.
A source from the show says, “It was a thrilling match. Himesh’s team played two matches so far and unfortunately lost. On the other hand Shankar’s team is always considered a very strong team, as they won all matches against other captains. But Himesh’s Warriors were in full swing this time and they gave some good performances.”
The source continues, “Raja, Aishwarya and Munawwar Ali from Himesh’s team performed while Shankar’s Rockstars Neeti Mohan, Sharib and Sanjeev Kumar played the match. Neeti’s was one of the most wonderful performances of the evening. She won the ‘singer of the evening’.
Himesh’s Warriors scored the highest and they survived in the competition. It was a do or die match for them.” Out of four teams headed by Shankar, Himesh, Shaan and Shreya Ghoshal, two teams will reach the final next week as per public voting. The Sunday episode will see all the captains performing and appealing to vote for their respective teams. The finale of the show will be on March 13
